With head in sand, you grew disgusted, depressed, disappointed, defensive, and determined to ‘prove something’! By hook or crook, you deliberately, defiantly decided, “You would have what you wanted; no matter what it took to get it.” In the meantime, your character wilted while you projected a victim's suffering.
