I am sure this is not particularly profound or even a new idea to many, but I just recently realized that preparing for the death of a loved one is entirely different than preparing for that same person to be dead.

It is sometimes nothing more than someone saying something kind or nice to us. Other times are when we have made the grade we didn't think we did or when we got that promotion we have longed for. Hospice Care is something that no one wants to think about or experience. We do not want it for ourselves, our loved ones or our friends. But sometimes we face a situation that requires assistance. In my experience I have found that Hospice Care was a blessing in the midst of the pain of losing someone I loved.
