If you’re here, then you must be ready to learn how to be cool in high school. Before we begin with the 10 steps you need to make sure you really know what you mean by cool. By cool do you want to be the funny guy that makes everyone laugh. Do you want to be the ladies man that gets all the girls? Maybe the rich guy that has the best clothes and car. Maybe you want to be the all-star quarter back that takes your team to state.

The list can go on forever because everybody has their own opinion of what “cool” really is. The steps I give below won’t make you great at any one thing like I listed above. They are general idea suggestions that will help you get an idea of how to be a likeable person that people will trust and respect. This my friend will make you a cooler than any jock or guy with a hot rod that nobody really likes or trust.

So let’s get right down the point with the 10 steps that will make you cool.

How To Be Cool In High School With 10 Easy Steps

1. Personal Hygiene

I really didn’t want to have to include this as one of the steps but I felt that it was too important to leave out. There are too many people that do not take care of themselves. If you want to be cool then you must start with your hygiene. If you walk around smelling and/or looking nasty all the time people will see you as the disgusting guy rather than the cool guy. I’m not going to say any more about this other than take care of yourself. Now moving on to the good stuff.

2. Smart Is Cool

When you think of the smart kids in your school I’m sure you are probably thinking of all the “nerds”. Well it is not the fact that they are smart that makes people see them as nerds, it’s the life style and attitude they choose to have. In order to be well on your way to being cool you need to keep up with your grades. People have more respect for the people who are thought of as being smart.

I’m not saying spend your whole weekend doing homework or sitting behind a computer. If you do that you will fall into the nerd category. Just don’t think the only way you can be cool is if you are barely passing all of your classes. Trust me I’ve been there, people will just see you as a lazy idiot then. Keep good grades and you will be well on your way to being the cool kid in your high school.
