1. Turn the other cheek. Wow… was that hard lesson to adopt and an even harder one to maintain. As I grew, I watched her turn her cheek; at times I thought this to be insane and I even went so far as to seek revenge for her. She held true to her beliefs, reminding me it was a waste of energy. Eventually, negativity would drift away from her world. Her angelic soul never once approved of my negative actions; she never judged or denied me even though she didn’t approve of my actions.
