The Chinese government will spend billions on multinational technology companies such as International Business Machines Corp. (IBM) and Dell Inc. to attain a portion of the gigantic healthcare market which is scattered and not utilized fully.

IBM will set up technological facilities in Chinese hospitals in the southern Guangdong province. This will assist the hospital to organize its patient records, and later use them to make statistical analysis of traditional Chinese medicine treatments.
