Physical discipline in moderation and done correctly teaches a child respect of authority, something that is sorely lacking in our society today. Because of this we have place small children on presciption drugs, in which they become addicted to later in life.

On the heels of the three Murrah High School boys in Jackson Mississippi who were whipped with a 5-10 pound weightlifting belt by their basketball coach because he felt he was obligated to save those boys from the destruction of society, in my reality paddling and corporal punishment in our schools is offensive.
