Hosta Whirlwind is a sport of Hosta Fortunei Hyacinthina. This is a fast growing medium sized plant that forms a tight mound of variegated foliage. Whirlwind has an upright habit and wavy leaves which give it the appearance of a “Whirlwind”.

The leaves change in color depending on the amount of sunlight it gets in a day. The main color can be anything from a light green to a creamy white and the margins are medium green. This is a fantastic perennial plant that will fit into all but the smallest of gardens.
