This plant is for shade only and should be protected from the sun. If planted in direct sunlight the leaves would burn and if it didn’t kill the plant it would make it weak and unattractive.

Blue Mouse Ears forms a neat and tight mound and has an upright habit and it forms a clump that is 8 inches high by 12 inches wide. Blue Mouse Ears is slug resistant. This is a tidy looking plant which does equally well in formal or casual gardens. When planting this Hosta consider using a companion plant with contrasting colors to complement each other.
