In mortal kombat 9 (2011) there are a bunch of hidden achievements. These such achievements/trophies are not like other secret achievements/trophies that you will stumble upon during gameplay they are the kind where you have to look out for certain things and know what to do and when to do it. In the game if you pre-ordered it from certain places such as gamestop or amazon you could get the classic costume for scorpion or reptile. These achievements/trophies basically allow you to fight the classic costumed kombatants.

I have a mortal kombat blog http://mortalkombatguru.blogspot.com but im debating whether or not i should close it down...as not a lot of people are interested in it so far... It discusses everything mortal kombat. Characters, realms, abilities...etc. Anyways, if you think i should keep it, comment one of my posts, saying that you would like to see me continue updating it. Needless to say, Warner Bros. became so impressed with the movie's results that they asked Kevin to make nine episodes based on the Mortal Kombat characters.

A few months ago, there was a brief short film leaked on youtube displaying a darker and more realistic version of what Mortal Kombat could be in a live action film. Many speculations came out about the video ranging from it even being suspected of a elaborate trailer for a new game of the series. However, it was later confirmed that Kevin Tancharoen (Fame director) not only made the film, but it initially set to be a proposal to Warner Bros about his vision for rebooting the franchise. No official word has been given yet, as to whether WB will go for Kevin Tancharoen's idea or not.
