Well, it's been quite a dry spell as far as found money goes in these parts. Granted, I haven't been going out as much since every day lately has been 100+. But I thought I'd find some money. Today I broke the streak!

I went to volunteer and on the way in, in the usual spot where I've found quite a few stray pennies, I found a penny. I looked around but didn't see any more so went on in.

Yesterday I ran a few errands and found a dime in my driveway then 2 pennies in the parking lot at Fresh and Easy. Woo hoo! Then later, I was looking through my change in my purse and found a quarter I'd never seen before. It was an America the Beautiful quarter, the first quarter released in the series: the Hot Springs National Park.

Today two of my grandkids came over. We went to the pool so they could show off their swimming skills for me, and there was a penny right by the steps going into the water.

Not found money that I can count, but I just found these 2 pennies, and I feel like I'm way behind times. I just noticed 2 shiny new pennies in my change yesterday. And these weren't normal new pennies. These are the new Lincoln one-cent design that was launched in February. What rock have I been living under?
