I recently came across some bizarre Youtube merchandise whilst searching on Google and it inspired me to write an article discussing the hype and impersonators that try to cash in from the worlds most famous video website. The most prominent promotions were t-shirts saying ' God wants You-to-be Saved', I thought this was quite lame because they are just trying to latch off a popular brand logo without really making a a relevant statement.
'YouToBe' and other variations such as Yotube and Yutube try to cash in by using the same shapes and colours as the official Youtube website and it waters down the nature of a great site for individuality. Google is currently in the process of legal action against the latter two domains which present a survey to the visitor who misspells and is presented with a 'Red and Black' 'Thank You' message when typing the wrong URL.
