Twitter is a social networking site which has exploded in popularity in the last few years. The Queen of England tweets - well, there are "Royal" tweets, whether it's actually her is another matter. Celebrities, sportsmen and women, politicians, presidents and prime ministers, musicians, rock stars, film stars. You name it, these days most people have a Twitter account.
But if you're new to Twitter, it can all seem a bit confusing. Read on to find out how to tweet, who to follow, and what exactly is a hashtag.

What is it about twitter that everybody seems to be talking about it? Some say it is the coolest social networking site, others think that it is for boring people who have nothing to do but “tweet” all day. Either way, everyone is talking about it so I had to join in and see what was it all about.
