We are now down to six contestants and in my opinion actress Kara Tointon and TV presenter Matt Baker were firm favourites for the final, but would my opinion change this week?

Just by way of an update, apart from Kara and Matt, we still had actor Scott Maslen, comedienne/psychologist Pamela Stephenson, rugby player Gavin Henson, and MP Ann Widdecombe. This week they had a “Movie” theme.

Unfortunately, last week we had to say goodbye to Felicity Kendal as the public still enjoyed the entertaining but heavy footed ex MP Ann Widdecombe. This week we were back down from the northern seaside resort of Blackpool to the studio in London.

We were now down to seven contestants. Actresses Kara Tointon and Patsy Kensit; actor Scott Maslen; TV presenter Matt Baker; comedienne/now psychologist Pamela Stephenson’ rugby player Gavin Henson; and Ann Widdecombe.

Down to the nitty gritty this week. We’ve reached the finals and only three contestants remain. Who would be lifting the Strictly Come Dancing Trophy?

The three finalists were Pamela Stephenson, Matt Baker and Kara Tointon. The judges no longer had a casting vote although they still gave their opinions. It was now all down to the voting public.
