Why do I keep on watching these movies? Well, because I prefer bad movies to boring movies -- boring movies are always worse that bad ones. And I hadn’t seen the movies mentioned above before. And when it comes to “Splatter University”, I hadn’t even heard of it.
This atrocity was the directorial debut of Richard W. Haines. His next movie was “Class of Nuke ‘Em High” (1986) for Troma, which was followed by something called “Alien Space Avenger” and a handful more titles -- and apparently, he’s still active today.
“Splatter University” opens with a prologue, in which an unseen patient escapes from a mental hospital. He kills a couple of people before he disappears.
