Paul Krugman, everyone's favorite economist, runs king of a popular blog over at the New York Times. Now, he is constantly ridiculed by libertarians as myself, and another economics blog posting just about this guy is more attention than he really needs. As such, I am writing this post not to call him out, because the guy has as much credibility as a Magic 8-Ball. Rather, I point out the image he posted in his blog to point something out about the way we calculate inflation in this country.

Comments and interaction are both the lifeblood of a blog, and without these two, a blog might as well be dead. What would be the point of gaining a hundred unique hits a day when you won’t get even a single reaction on one of your blog post, right? If I were to choose between traffic and comment, then I would definitely choose the latter more than the former. Why I said so? Well, those traffic you’re getting each day without any response in return simply indicates that no one cares to read any of your blog posts.

WalMart Blog = backlinking Opportunity 2 years 8 weeks ago

Check out this review of the Walmart Blog as a backlinking opportunity. Another innovative idea from JadeDragon. PR5 backlinks - sounds pretty good to me. I agree that as currently structured http://checkoutblog.com is pretty useless to Walmart. It is clearly showing signs of neglect with only one post in 2010 so far from the over a dozen listed authors. However the Walmart blog can be really useful to us as writers because - well read the whole story at Innovative Passive Income now.
