My good friend Robert (who is an aspiring poet) has handed me another one of his creations to show off to the world. He wrote this poem, titled Oops!, when he was 18 and cannot for the life of him remember what made him wish to write it. He told me that there was a point to writing the poem and that he was trying to make some sort of statement but he just cannot recall what that was. I have read this poem several times and find it contains some very dark humour. It is a very unusual and original poem. I hope you enjoy it.

Children are innocent and wonderful and do not deserve some of the heinous crimes that have been committed against them. This poem was wrote to make people open there eyes and realize that we as adults are the ones that are supposed to protect them. As the writer of the poem I can say that I wrote the poem after a recent article I had done about murderous moms. The murderous moms piece I was not able to write with my true feelings tied into the article so I used this poem to get out my feelings on the matter.
