Gamer is not a movie for the faint-hearted and those averse to violence and pornography. Even gamers might find the premise a little flimsy and unoriginal. Unless you’re a die-hard fan of Gerard Butler, Gamer is a movie you should stay very far away from.

I watched Gamer because of Gerard Butler. I love him in 300 and in Law Abiding Citizen. However, in Gamer, he wasn’t given the opportunity to shine through except to show off his fighting moves. The whole movie just revolves around one violent shooting scene after another with butt and boob shows break in between.
