When I hear the term movie star, I automatically think of people like Gregory Peck or Jimmy Stewart or Colin Firth.

Colin Firth is an Englishman born in 1960. He began acting in 1984 and has acted in more than 65 movies and television shows since then.

Colin Firth is a versatile actor who has played an assortment of roles, including a gay professor, a Dutch painter, a novel writer, a barrister as those crazy Brits call lawyers, and we can't forget, a king. Colin Firth can be maudlin, angry, hurt, and so sweet it almost makes my teeth hurt. Almost. He's never that over the top, which is one reason he's such a great actor.

Bridget Jones (Zellweger) decides to start a diary in order to be honest with herself about every aspect of her life. Grant plays her "casanova" boss who she has a fling with and Firth plays a lawyer she keeps bumping into all over the place. The sequel to this isn't a bad movie but I don't find it as good as the first one.
