The Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia is a very nice section of the city. It offers restaurants, bars, a couple galleries and plenty of other specialty shops. It also offers some good coffee. Sure there is the usual ubiquitous Starbucks, but there is also a great independent coffee shop called Chestnut Hill Coffee company. They roast their own coffee and create some beautiful blends of espresso, lattes, machiattos, etc.

Chestnut Hill Philadephia is an affluent section of Philly. It contains some nice shops and restaurants. It is a pretty safe and scenic place to visit.
Is Chestnut Hill for everyone? I'm not so sure. It depends on what sort of day you are looking to have.

There is a museum in the Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia are that features many PA artists that lived around the Philadelphia region. The museum is called the Woodmere Art Museum.
For those of you familiar with the area the Woodmere Art Museum is located on Germantown. For local Montgomery County, PA residents, this museum is very easy to get to and won't take up much of your time.
