I'm not a father, but I've been a son to a father. So I think I can speak from experience, and give parenting tips from a different perspective. A son needs a father in his life. A father is the most important role for a boy. It's different with boys and girls. I realize both parents love them the same. A father's parenting effects how the son will be as he gets older. It's important to play a vital role in your sons life. You need to provide positive parenting in their life. Sons need their mothers, there's no denying that. However, they need their fathers the most though. It's a man thing.

Somebody recorded my family's Passover Seder this year. I wasn't able to attend because I was by my dad's side in the hospital.

However, my family recently listened to the recording and transcribed just what my 8 year old son Griffy said...and I was able to be a part of his thinking and the event and truly appreciate my son's gifts.

Listening to the recording brought tears of joy, happiness and pride to my eyes.
