eHow has finally made good with the Writer's Compensation Program (WCP) members, whose articles were published on the eHow UK beta site without their consent. Initially, it appeared that eHow would not issue payments for revenue generated by WCP writers' articles while they were posted on the UK version of eHow. But in a twist, eHow has issued payments for the revenue generated on the beta site!

eHow.com, a website that produces how-to content, recently used their member's articles as fillers in the launch of their "beta" UK website. They didn't pay for their use though and members pushed the issue until eHow removed the articles and finally gave an official answer as to compensation and the UK's impact on earnings. In light of the current situation at eHow.com, I am taking a look at the morality of writing for a company I don't agree with on a moral front. Other writers are questioning them, too. eHow has mirrored their website to the UK and posted our articles without compensation. Is eHow a scam?

Many writers logged into eHow today to find out they had stopped their Writer's Compensation Program, the program that allows people to earn residual income by writing how to articles. Some people will not be able to continue writing.

List My Five is a new writing site very similar to the original eHow, that welcomes all writers to write a top five list of just about anything. Although the page rank is not Google's first page, the rapid growth of this site is going to get it there fast if this growth keeps up. The Alexa site showed 750% growth in a month's time, which is really good!
This is much like the original eHow site that was the king of the internet writing sites until the writer compensation program closed in April, 2010.
