Spencer Nugent published this demo on his blog IDSketching.com
His point was to demonstrate how, by exercising hard, we can improve our sketching technique as well as our skills. Back in school my teachers used to say " to draw well you must exercise over and over untill you get sick of it"...they were right!
With this drawing Spencer Nugent shows us exactly the same thing, the blu line drawing is one of his first car drawings ever made and the black line one is a recent one done on an Ipad.

Dear friends,

as you know here on Car Design Education Tips we speak about many things on car sketching and basics of drawing cars. I am always convinced that, in order to be a good car designer or industrial designer, we have to learn how to draw cars on paper starting from respecting the fundamental rules of drawing and illustration.
We have to start soon (young age) to exercise the art of drawing correctly to improve day by day our skills and get the self-confidence to take a pencil and a paper and draw anything we want to.

Some time ago designer Spencer Nugent, from IDSketching.com, wrote a post about how to develop our drawing skills. As example he published the blu line sketch which was one of his first attempt to sketch a car in perspective. Recently he tried to reinterprated the same sketch with his actual professionality and using an IPad by Apple. He used his drawings to express his vision about how to learn drawing cars.
