Reading the novels that won the Pulitzer Prize is my way of getting out of the exclusive non-fiction rut: I like to read mostly non-fiction; things of a historical or biographical nature interest me especially and, generally speaking, Fiction doesn't really do much for me but I still have the occasional yearning for a good story. For this reason I decided, a little over a year ago, that I'd start reading all the works of fiction that have won a Pulizer prize. If they have won then they must be pretty good right?
